Last weekend I was on an anual excursion carried out by the Amateur Astronomy Societies of Greece. It's an event that attracts a wide variety of people of all ages and interests from general public to hobbyist or professional astronomers. It's a two night free camping at mountains that are very far from big cities so light pollution is avoided. Flashlights and torches are not allowed during night time because even the slightest light could ruin the work of deep sky astrophotographers and scientists that carry out measurements. I had the chance to try my skills in astrophotography. I could not try light painting due to the light restriction. My camera is certainly not the best at low light conditions, nevertheless, these are my best results from last weekend. I hope you enjoy!
